Day 11: Peanut Butter
We eat this American Masterpiece so much, we go through a jar in a little over a week's time. PB goes with almost everything, and even tastes great by itself. Thanks, George Washington Carver, you truly are a master chef!
Day 12: Bananas
Bananas are another staple in our household. Lately, we have been eating two large bunches every week. These babies don't even have the chance to grow one brown sugar spot in this home--we eat 'em up quick! I've heard this fruit might be extinct soon, and I am hoping that is just a rumor. I will mourn them if they go. Bananas are good plain, in cereal, in pudding, in bread form, even as a first meal on an English Muffin, with honey, cinnamon, and, of course, my other favorite food: Peanut Butter. That, my friends, is my breakfast of champions! mmmmm....pb and bananas....auugghhh! ::read like Homer Simpson :) ::
What is your breakfast of champions?

OMG, that looks sooooooooo yummy!!
ReplyDeleteYummy! Pre-run (if I'm going long) it's almond butter on half a bagel and a banana of course!
ReplyDeleteMy breakfast of champions is chobani yogurt (preferably peach or blueberry) with granola. Delish!
ReplyDeleteI have pomegranate and cranberry oatmeal with a dallop of peanut butter every morning. You think I'd get sick of it after a few months, but every morning it is just as delicious as the first time :)
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in DC last weekend visiting my daughter we ate out A LOT. One night I ordered a pb and banana panini. I sort of thought I was nuts to be ordering this and paying for it. BUT it was so delicious! It was exactly what I wanted and I will order it again!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! That looks like a great breakfast or snack:)
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty addicted to pomegranates. Like seriously addicted.
